Amie Taylor
Amie is a freelance theatre practitioner with 8 years experience in working with children and young people in the arts. Amie specialises in collaborative and devised theatre, with skills in puppetry, storytelling and music.
As a theatre director she is interested in devised and collaborative performance and directs work for the 33 collective; an arts collective of musicians, actors, singers, choreographers, writers and filmmakers.
She has a particular interest in the use of theatre and the arts to support the existing national curriculum in order to aid children and young people in accessing academic subjects through creative means.
Amie is trained in Helicopter Stories: Letting Imagination Fly as a Level 2 - Helicopter Deliver. This means that Amie is trained to team teach with early years practitioners in the classroom, introduce and deliver weekly helicopter sessions in-class, encourage practitioners, reflect on the practice and feed back their observations.
